Hitachi Drive - Constant Clicking Sound

Donor Disk
Hitachi Deskstar
MODEL: HDT725032VLA380
P/N: 0A33663
MLC: BA2364
PCB: 0A53043
BA2178_


There was a constant clicking sound on the damaged drive, suspecting head damage, replaced head from donor drive. But still the same. I tried swapping PCB no use also.

Please let me know if you have any idea of what is happening?

did you check the heads you used are still good?

Have you tried putting the heads from the original in the donor to cross check whether the heads are really the issue?

sounds like bad headswap or bad donor
