Hello there,
first, please excuse my english, i am from germany.
Second, very cool forum, never found so much info to hdd before!
I have a problem with two WD1600JS-55NCB1, they are fried after power surge and i am trying to find two spare pcb. I already read through some threads here, but i could not find right spare parts in germany yet. Maybe someone has to sell two boards of this type? I can pay per PayPal to UK/USA.

You can use any 701335 PCB, but you will need to physically transfer the ROM chip(s) over.

It is dead since this morning. I don't know what happened yet. I need only data from this.
If my PCB is good or I'll find new one, I can give it to You after data recovery on mine hdd.
I would be appreciated if You could borrow/sell me PCB after You recovery procedure if You success.
Where are You from? I'm from western Poland, about 150 km to Berlin.
