They're photos of the major components, ie RAM, ROM, MCU, motor controller, etc.

The BIOS screen shots show how the drive is identified in LBA and CHS modes.

AFAIK, BlackST's last post to these forums was to ask for help with a stiction problem in a laptop hard drive. He confessed that he'd never worked on a laptop drive before. So much for experience ...

And BTW, aren't stiction faults covered in DR 101?

Sounds to me like he was gambling with a customer's data.

Or maybe he took his own advice and sent it to a pro?
