CALIPSO error

The BIOS reads Calipso YAR41BW0 instead of the original model. How do I recover from this drive. It's a Maxtor 80GB HDD, Model: 6Y080L0422631. Thank you guys

Probably FW, but might be head related as well.

Yes, i think so. But is there any way to change Firmware without the PC3000 or Data Doctor? Thank you for your response.

No.

Unless you know how to access the firmware and you write your own tool/tools.
