Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello,
I have a WD10EADS hard drive that has been plugged upside down to a molex connector with an adapter.
The PCB is fried (

I'v read a lot in here today, I know swapping PCBs won't help and some soldering is required.
Networkpc3000 proposed his services but I live in Europe and shipping my hard drive to China would cost me more than the servicing itself.
Could someone here do this for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance

"reasonable" depends on what happened. If you're lucky the repair is reasonable, if the problem has gone beyond it's another story.
In Belgium you can contact "dobrevjetser" from this forum.

According to the picture and the motor IC damage you may have a motor failure too. I don't hope so.
Good luck
