I am a PC3K user and have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11, 500GB, ST3500620AS, FW: HP24, which is busy. On terminal it shows: LED: 000000CC FAddr: 0024900D. Could any guru here please point out or PM me the difference for HP24 in the procedure of termianal fix? Thanks.

Thank you Alexii. The reason I asked the question is I saw the following post on the forum:
seagate-7200-firmware-issue-hp24-firmware-t11755.htmlIt said there was a different step in the procedure. I would like to make sure.

Well looks like i stand corrected. Aparently there is a difference. For what its worth - several months ago we had a guy with busy hp24. Boss did a fix for him , and as far as i know he just ran a standart ACE's Lock Fix on PC3k. Just like any other SD15.

Legit one I suppose? If so, Ace support team should guide you to success on that one.

Go to your download box and download the manual for this one it is new and tells all inside of it. You will have all your answers in the new manual look in appendix and it is very well explained how to over come this one. Or you have second choice wait for the new beta program to be tested and install it very soon. Just got word on it today from ACE. They have added this to the new prorgam.

Poehere, thanks for your input. I will try to have them put the new manual into my down box. It is not there right now. Seems you have that, huh?
