 Post subject: Downgrade firmware MX1A to MX15

Hi, i have on Seagate 7200.11 with firmware problems. I can't to repair this, actually have firmware MX1A, but i can't to repair the size (465GB). I need to know if there is any way to downgrade to firmware MX15.

I have problems with this hdd. I try to repair with pc3000, in automatic mode always return error, in manual mode, with terminal and commands, sometimes i can to repair but after with Data Extractor i can't to acces to hdd, it keep reading LBA 1. If i power off, in the next time, It does not support the size, is very strange case......

Try reading the new F3 Seagate manual that is in your box. This can help you fix this one look in appendix of the book. You will find your answer in there
