I don't get Fujitsu drives often anymore:


anyone seen Fujitsu spin up normally, no odd behavior, reach readiness, but then when you make an attempt to ID it issues ABRT?

I haven't done any thorough checking yet, this is just initial look at the drive.

It really does not come ready, even though it reports that it does.

Do the heads move from the ramp?

I believe i am hearing the heads move from the ramp, fujitsu drives are rather "Vocal" with their unload process.


I will check further into this
