Some tips for SCSI drive ST336607LW

June 8th, 2010, 8:58

I have got a ST336607LW that gives sense codes 02 - 04 - 00 (logical unit not ready, cause not reportable).
Any suggestions what this can be? The drive is spinning, a little bit noisy but no abnormal sounds.

Thanks,

Sense Code 02 Not ready at my experience with Seagate Chettah family, Could be Physical problems , a head crash too, some times its common over scsi families when u get media damaged, u dont heard knocks sounds
