Hi,
I would appreciate your help very much!
I am tried to recovery a folder that was deleted in error sometime back, while I was doing some housekeeping. I have not written any data to this drive as yet since the deletion. However I may have deleted more files and folders from it since this incident. It is an WD external USB drive of 1TB capacity.
Can someone let me know if there is chance of recovering this data? Any guidance would be very much appreciated.
Could someone explain what happens if more files are deleted? I assume that as I have not written data the structure may not have been compromised?
I have tried to use a couple of Data recovery tools without much success?
Please help me.
Thanks,
Dee

Hi deedee,
There are fair chances that you can get your desire folder back, lot of good software are available (but not free) to recover this kind of deleted data.
It doesn't effect if you delete more files and folders after that particular folder, yes writing data to the victim drive surely effect the recovery chances.
well, I would say try, Get Data Back or R-Studio like softwares, I am sure you will get the data back.
