SEAGATE IDE HDD 7200 160gb n 80gb Problem

all hdd detect in BIOS but when i repartition/reformat it in windows or from DOS it says complete. then i try to open the drive directory it is already empty, all files are gone or it actually repartition n reformatted. but when i try restart the computer the files/partition of drive still remains. please help me...

seems problem in with the disk,

why r u formatting ? what makes you to format the drive ? have you change anything on drives ?
