WD10EAVS-00D7B0 CRC Error

April 13th, 2011, 23:09

I have a WD10EAVS-00D7B0 that is producing a CRC error on many files. Is there any way I can recover these files without them being corrupt? Also, the drive is formated to HFS+. Thank you in advance.

If that doesn't work, you can mount your HFS partition inside Linux or use Windows and some app that supports HFS.

Just thought I would let you guys know that it is working, but it's taking a long time. I have been at it for the past 2 days now transferring data. On my last 149GB. Wish me luck!
