Please let me know if anyone has the Western Digital Firmware version 000500E0. It is for a WD3200AAJS-22L7A0. I am specifically looking for modules 41, 42, 43, 49, and 03. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!

The 4x modules are adaptive modules, so it's unlikely ones from another drive will work properly.

Are you sure BOTH copies are completely shot, and you can't make one good one from two partial reads?

I'd love it if it were not true, but yes, both copies are corrupted. Composite reading by ABA is also not possible. Pretty much dead in the water.

You are correct that all modules are unique adaptives, but the folks at ACE and DeepSpar have said they have had good luck with this model of western digitals replacing those modules from matching firmware.

I already tried modules from a nearly identical drive with different firmware. No dice. Needs to be the same firmware.

I should also mention that this drive is in the WD Marvell Utility, Pinclite family. Sorry I neglected to mention that earlier. Maybe now someone will actually be able to search for it. :D

I'll see what I can dig up at work tomorrow, firmware-wise.
