Hi,
there is a way to find a head's donor for this hdd without spending 270€ ?
it is a 6 heads, 12,5 CM height.
Not a problem to me encryption here, and sata board, just problem with this drives that mostly arrive in lab with heads fucked and some demages on sufaces.

Hello,
What is the full model of the hard drive?
FYI 5000KMVV series hard drives around $200 in USA market. I'm pretty sure for another $20-30 they will ship it to you

You could try sourcing it based on the model of the enclosure. Often its the same or a compatible donor, but its not guaranteed.
Will be much cheaper to source from this

I just purchased one based on the model of the enclosure. $70+shipping. Expecting to arrive to see what the enclosed drive is and if it is compatible with mine.
I found other donor as well, so it is not big deal in this case.
