First of all i wanna say hi to everyone cuz i just joined here :)

Ok now i'll just cut right to the chase

I have a serious HDD problem...It all started a few months ago...

My laptop suddenly turned off and when i tried to turn it on again it always got stuck at the "windows starting" Logo...
So the first thing i did is formatted my drive and tried installing a fresh version of windows but it couldn't finish the installation even after hours of trying on that partition(I have 2 partitions 150 GB each).
I had an idea to try and install the OS on my other partition and it worked and up to date that partition works flawlesly :/
But everytime i do something with the other non-working partition (Copying something on it, Surface Check, Wipe Free Space, Check For Errors) i get a bluescreen and my laptop restarts (Sometimes i can hear clicking and beeping sound coming from HDD), also my Computer kinda freezes up, i can't even finish the Scan/Copying etc...
The bluescreen doesn't say much...It just informs me that it needs to shutdown the PC to prevent damage

that's about all the info i can give ya if i forgot something crucial just ask me :)

Sector damage, and the heads may be failing. I would replace the drive

IF you dont care about the data- just use the partition you have for windows - delete the first one (using windows computer management) so windows does not access it - I assume the warranty ran out since you have not RMAed it yet?
Dont use use the 1st partition- every time you try and access that part of the drive it may be damaging it more and more. Blue screen is quite extreme for bad sectors- so like clean room suggested it might as well be failing heads.... but since your os runs ok- i doubt it.

Don't use it as a primary storage for critical data.
