Seagate 7200.4 st9500420as

Hi forum
Does anyone know how to get terminal access on these drives
The drive is clicking 12 times and then remains bsy. It then continues to spin normally, drive will not show id

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated

refer to my old stupid question here for terminal connection

i forgot to connect the power to the HDD

OR

use seagate sata adapter terminal cable + do not power on the drive now
then open ur HT set the speed/com ports correct

and power ON

u should see some log there if BR correct 38400

give it a shot

all items have bene connected correctly,with a working drive i am able to access terminal no issues,
the issue is that when the drive is remaining in BSY state i cant issue an commands in terminal, so i would like to access terminal mode to try and solve BSY issue on the drive.

i believe these drives have terminal locked during shipping.
