How to Recover data has been ghost by Norton ghost 11?

October 14th, 2010, 1:26

I have 2 hard disk partition in Seagate hard, 1st Partition is C {label: system) and 2nd partition is D {label: data). I Use Norton Ghost version 11. I mean to clone on the partition 2 (D). But I was wrong to clone. It is cloning first partition (C) overwrite to the partition 2 (D). Mean While, there are a lot of important data in the partition into 2 (D). How do I can recover the data, is any software can recover my lost data on partition 2 (D)???? please help me ... Thank you.

If the operations completed then it is more complicated.

BUt you can use software like Rstudio; Ontrack Easy recovery and many other to try and scan for lost files.

That is the easy option.. If you C drive is Smaller than D then the files after the size of C is still there. But it can be complicated to do and you might need to use forensic software.....
