First of all i want to thank for this forum and the great help to ppl like me
Last week i had to reset my pc when i was loading some photos, then i get one of my hdd with errors. I sucesfully move all the data to other hdd to make a low level format and see if the bad region can be repair. Looking for a tool i found HDDGuru and LowLever Format Tool 2.36. Saturday morning i start to do the low level format (oct 9 01:30 am), today oct 11 1530 pm still formating, the process its really very slow, i just need to know if this tool is formating or not, the progress bar is working (around 3 or 4 blocks in 12 hours)

Now i came here to see if this is ok and i found another tool called MHDD, what i have to do? i think im going to keep low level formating till complete the work (1 more week ....)

Thanks in advance

Ps: Excuse my english

You should get rid of this drive. It can only give you more and more problems later on. Buy a new one and considering your data is already backed up then go on and forget this one. I would not risk the chance to use a drvie like this one again. If under warrenty RMA it and get a new one. Other wise buy one and go on.
