Hi

I have this HD that goes ready when I plug it in to the Doctor, but when I try do load from HD, it goes on Error.
No clicks, or strange noises.
What to do?

I have this Donor fw: HitachiHTS543232L9A300
Will this be compatible?

Thanks

Back to this case...

What seems to be a NVRAM case, it's getting harder...

Tried to repair NVRAM, with no success. Tried hot swap with DDI, no success...

Does anyone have another suggestion?
Probably swap ROM?
Thanks

From what you told me in PM I think a replacement PCB is your answer. If the SD tools allow reading of patient NVRAM and writing of it to new PCB, then try that.

When you power on, can you hear the heads come off the ramp and seek?
