Well, it's obvious that something went wrong.

Can you post what was the original problem and the steps taken?

Was this the busy problem or the 0 LBA problem. You have just done the 0 LBA fix. I suggest that maybe if this one was the busy problem you should do a little research here and find the way to do the Busy fix. In busy fix the PCB has to be removed (hint) in 0 LBA you use this code. Maybe this can tell you what went wrong.

1st did BIOS recognize your HDD but give you a 0 - LBA? if so you chose correctly if not then you chose wrong.

2nd did the BIOS not see your drive??? if yes then you chose wrong.

3rd what made you think this was the busy problem on your drive? What was wrong with it in the first place?

Button called search and then read - If this is not in your native language try google to translate it. Then read there is 2 solution on this one

1 = 0 LBA
2nd = Busy

You have to chose the right one.

Its a 7200.12 so it is not the 7200.11 BSY problem.
7200.12's have a different problem which needs pro help.

I have 500gb 7200.12 drive which gives output Rst 0x10M and nothing happens further. I am sure this is not typical 7200.11 defect. What is correct command for Data recovery?

The 7200.11 LBA 0 bug fix procedure can be applied to 7200.12 drives, at least in some cases.

See this thread:
seagate-barracuda-7200-lba-t17640.html

BSY issues may be another matter. There are no doubt many possible reasons for a drive to hang in the BSY state.
