I came across this HDD while doing some practise.

ON terminal it identifies itself as "Mustang"
LD25.2 - 40GB
The label is printed "Not suitable for laptop computer use." FOR OEM...etc

Model number as normal. ST940210AS

Any know why this is done like this and what is the equivalent for SD? if possible.

Cheaper version of a cheap drive. Designed for static placement, kiosk pc's etc.

Had one last week in an external enclosure which they aren't designed to be used in.
