Hi
i have a ST3500820AS having the busy noise problem.
the customer told me the story of the HDD and send it to me.
he first made a few tries before sending it.
he changed the pcb with another one and he threw away the original one!
Can i find the F/W and clone it with Atola to this PCB?

thank you in advance

That will be a really hard one to get a compatible ROM.
I think your best option would be tell the client to search very well his garbage to find the original PCB

Or else you got 2 options: be able to rebuild original ROM or try tons of PCB's until finding a compatible one.
