mhdd software

Ok, so I couldn't get hdderase to work on my computer, because for some reason I have no BIOS setting to change to IDE on my Dell. So the person that programmed hdderase told me to try mhdd. So I downloaded the software, bootable CD ISO from this site and tried to boot the cd with it. For some reason it isn't recognizing as a bootable like the hdderase ISO did. Any ideas? I can't figure out how to get the image to boot, and I tried downloading mhdd from another site, and it does the same thing. It says its SATA and ACHI compatable along with IDE, so I can't imagine I have to change any BIOS settings for it just to boot, besides boot sequence. But duh, and it still doesn't work. Thanks in advance.

just to be sure that you burn the MHDD image correctly to disk, i have had issue creating bootable disk with other software never with this.

Are you sure you burnt the iso AS an image, and didn't just burn the iso file TO the disc, if you know what I mean?

Yes, I understand you both, and I am sure. I had the HDDerase as a boot disc when I was doing it, it was done properly, I can try it again to make sure, but I used power iso, opened it as an image, which it was from the download on this site, then burnt it to the disc.
