Hello All,
I have a 7200.11 500 Meg Drive that upon a reboot is no longer being recognized by the bios. I believe this to be the BSY error that I have read about. I have successfulyl built a USB to UART adaptor and been able to attaced to the drive to attempt the restore. When I attach to the drive I enter a /2 and receive the F3 2> prompt, when I attempt a Z I get a error LED:000000CC FAddr:00280569. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I assume you have the PCB disconnected while your accessing the terminal commands?
If so then you're probably not waiting long enough before issuing the Z command, the PCB has to be DRDY before it will accept the Z command. Try waiting at least 2 mins between getting the F3 prompt and issuing the Z command.
