Harddrive spinning but computer is unable to recognize

I use to use seagate 7200.9 500gb with usb to sata adopter. I have used this drive for backup and it has always been used as a usb drive.

My computer as suddenly stopped recognizingly this hdd. Please help me to recover this hdd.

You have to connect your drive directly to your computer in order to see if it recognizable by computer and then go from there.

I tried booting in my friends desktop, harddrive is still not being recognized.

If I replace my circuit board on my hdd do you think that it can solve the problem?

you can only replace the usb/sata adapter, the PCB board of the HDD have adaptive data wich should be transfered before replace.
