Maxtor Athena ABRT

I have a hard disk maxtor athena
2B020H1 model
WAH21PBZ firmware
capacity 20 gb

I plug in the ide and I detected MHDD

ERR
DRSC
DRDY
HPA
ABRT

to do a scan every sector mark me! ABRT

could someone please tell me which is the hard disk failure

SImple : the disk is failing as it is recognised as factory alias Maxtor ATHENA and not as "Maxtor 2B020H1".

And the firmware is recognised as WAH21PBZ (ROM alias) not WAH21PB0 as it should.

In a nutshell : firmware fault. Multiple causes, same effect, one medicine (if possible) : use the appropriate equipment and diagnose the fault.
