Check the Atola Tools. Is cheaper than Deepspar. Or even the SD Data Compass.

In my opinion , actually, there's LITTLE OR NO REAL alternative to Deepspar, and if you can't afford Deepspar, even the other mentioned tools are out of range.

Option 2 / plan " B " : make your own.

thanks Buddies
I think Hd duplicator is cheapest may be US$ 400. Price of Atola Imager is at Par with Deepspar ( around US$ 3500)
I will purchase Deepspar in next phase.

How many data recovery projects do you currently get that you need the imager for? My suggestion is for you to use gnu ddrescue (free) and outsource what you cannot do until you have enough work to justify the DeepSpar Imager. For most, DeepSpar will pay for itself within weeks.

The problem is when the drive need to be forcefully reset during imaging (in some particular conditions). Free stuff will show their limits very soon.

Did you email the Russian author or the Polish reseller?

Being able to recover by MFT mask is alone worth the price of a DDI. The algorithmic options it gives you pays dividends instantly. Heck, mine isn't even primarily used for data recovery and it paid for itself within a month.

Thank You all for your response & sharing your experiences.
I have just started Data recovery business & getting disk cloning / recovery work.

lcoughey -- I have other commercial products for cloning but these softwares & even hardwares cant clone bad sectored disk.
My experience shows that same disk cloned by HDduplicator gives very good results ,while cloning by specialiesd hardware fails.

I have emailed author 2-3 times ,however I have not emailed to polish distributor ,which i will make right away.

The HDD Duplicator does look like a fairly good program. It is too bad that it seems as though it is no longer available for purchase...at least not easily. I wouldn't mind playing with it to see how it stacks up against the hardware imagers.
