I think that we should all put their claims to the test. Every time you get a severe head crash, send it to these guys and report back here with the percentage of data they actually do recover.

Can't you read? "in most cases... full recovery... 100% success rate"

Data recovery breakthrough on hard drives allowing for near 100% full data recovery on all damaged SATA, SAS drives

I read this as saying that they can recover NEAR 100% of the data FROM ALL damaged SATA, SAS drives.

If they were to say that could recover near 100% of the data form MOST damaged SATA, SAS drives, I might be able to swallow it, though that is still misleading, in my mind.

Doesn't pass the sniff test.

Data in the filter can't be reconstructed.

Another simple problem: suppose the physical damage is in the middle of the drive. How do you transverse the heads to the non-damaged area beyond the bad part?

It was possible on SignalTrace, so it's not a problem

The problem is that they claim 100% success rate and all drives support which would take thousands of very skilled researchers man-hours and millions of dollars

I live in S.Africa and know this company, I use them as a supplier for drives.

What possesses them to publish a claim this unbelievable is beyond me.

"...a unique and secret method for the recovery of data from defective and failed hard drives that have bad sectors or damaged platters"

Like jono said they must have a magic reassemble-particles-from-filter-to-platter machine.

These people are probably SA's biggest data recovery company. There are a handful of other 'big players'.
Africa is where humanity was born, so it's obviously where all the new DR techniques are born as well

it is possible to do some of the things that they say. But to SAY it's new and revolutionary is a joke considering I have been tweeking with this since 1996-97 !
