hi friends i need help..
befone some hours my hard disk working. i use avg full version i install one software in my pc when
i run that software and avg inform me this software have virus . i miss take that i click on avg warrimg window allow this software and after some time i restart my pc only window xp logo come and black screen not start window after that i try new OS window setup is running will and when option come chose partion to install window i have to parttion in hard disk C and D drive. when i chose C drive to chose install window its give error and also my D drive automatic renamed to unknow. i attech with another computer and not show my hard disk drives in my computer
and in disk management there show my drive C drive renamed with unalocted , try to open my D drive from disk managment its sow error D drive can not assisable
please help only i need tex file in my D drive
i have 1 TB hard disk
i use window xp

With R-Studio, for instance, it's possible that you can get your files again.

dd_rescue is another one to use. Try this one has more options in it than R Studio

yes must use your drive on other pc running xp or other os, install the above recommended software on that pc and then attach your drive and scan, it will help.
I will go with R-Studio.
