I have a drive with verified water/smoke damage (there is water still inside the drive). What price range are we looking at for a recovery and what are the success rates here. Looking for a US based referral. The drive is a 160 GB Samsung.

Further information will be required to be able to give an accurate quote.
How did the drive get smoke/water damage?
Is the water salt water or clean water?
How long has the drive been in this condition?

if its salt water the platters will be eaten away by now
if its still water then the recovery can be done.
