Hi, I'm interested in Distance learning of MyHardDriveDied.com, about data recovery training.

I would like hear opinions about this, is a expensive course, 3000$, and i don't know if is good or not.

The hardware that course include, like Platter exchanges, is good too??

Opinion asked last month about a course of HDRC and opinions about the tools and the course was not anything good.
This is the course, who cost 1590$ and includes a lot of tools:

Now I've seen of myhardrivedied and it seems that is more expensive but the views are better.

I need to take a course and do not know which to choose, help please...

Maybe some one should design a course for remote surgery. Skip all the expensive costs for medical school and don't waste your time doing an extensive residency, just watch the 16Hour remote learing DVD.

if you want to learn about recovery work this is the guy for you

he knows what he is doing

and allso gives out a lot of trade secrets in recovery process

where a lot of the big data recovery companys told him to keep quiet and not tell any trade secrets.

if you get over to las vegas for defcon 14

worth checking out his talks

HDRC course only gives the basic of platter swapping not really much else

These secrets, do they come in bulk or should one buy them individually?
Is there any gradation in the secrets? I mean they just secrets? Or some of them are big secrets? Or maybe mega secrets or maybe there are couple super duper secrets?
Also is there any certificates of authenticity for those secrets? I mean how one would know that one's paying for real secrets and not fake secrets?

Yea that is a bit of joke! 2 hard drives.. Before i understood 1 hard drive i had to break 10 of them and them, fix them and it took me months. You cant learn expert stuff in a week. And the only trade secrets that they will give out are the obvious ones you will come across when doing your own learning. The rest is just f***ing expensive equipment and training on that. Or you can build you own
