Looking for a hard drive board for a WD

I am looking for a HD circuit board for a Western Digital 80GB hard drive. The modle number on the board is #2060-001292-000 REV A. I need this EXACT board. It is a Western Digital Caviar 80 GB. NOT a caviar SE. Plese let me know Thanks.

You can use any 2060-001292-xxx logic board.
It is nacessary to resolder native ROM !!!

ok well how/what is soldering native rom? im kinda new at this.....

The little 8-pin ROM chip, unsolder from duff board, and resolder to donor board.

any more details or pictuers?

The picture shows ROM chip and unsoldering it :

just buy a donor off ebay with the same model number (WD800....) and there you have a PCB suitable for ROM swap.

Same model & DCM code = no soldering required. Donor usually manufactured within 2-3 weeks of the drive needing repair.

finding a donor is near impossible... i cant find em anywhere

Joeman take a look on E-bay there are 2 WD800JB-00JJA0 for sale as of yesterday and about 47 auctions for WD800JB. Most are new but are selling for around $40.00 US.

Joeman try to contact this seller, his name is Mike. There's a very good chance he can get you the exact pcb if you are unsure of rom soldering. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZsoftcom

he dont have any office in malaysia and he is simple agent this PERSON just waisting other time .. this person is not reliable..

this person dont have any pcb he want money in advance and will give u nothing just waiting and waisting other time and money..
