P.s. There's no .1x BSY problem, but multiple causes instead.

The problem is similar to the Seagate 7200.11 disks that hang. Althouth, this one does not give the usual error for brick drives. Head and pcb swap did not do anything for it.

Corrupt ROM in a certain way and it will hang, corrupt some modules and it will hang, screw some part of the service area and it will hang, partially rewrite the firmware and it will hang....
Multiple starting points, same result and symptom. Naturally the "internet fix" won't work.

Yeah, I know. This is a different drive. Fist time seeing this issue with these drives. In two weeks, got clients calling about same issue. I just wanted to know if you guys have seen the issue. I do not see Seagate offering update for them. Maybe it is a fairly new problem, or I am just find out now.
