Imaged the drive successfully. Some issues regarding blocks of data at 56,426,496-56,430,591 (Timeout) were successfully read, however the cloned drives files (.DRV) are not playing. DVR is Speco DVR8TL250. Any recommendations? I also welcome your recommendation on someone with experience at extracting the video.
Tried playing by putting drive back into the dvr and also mounting the drive to a computer using Ex2fsd to access partitions. Data files present through time period. No success. Client would like to review a two day period when a theft occurred.

Sometimes these dvr security file systems are proprietary. If none of the videos work, then this is highly likely. Best thing is to place the drive back in the original unit (not sure if your dvr was the original) and see if it plays. Based on the image results, it may have a good chance to work.

You are correct- it is propritory. They supply viewers and export tools- standard viewers dont work. I was hoping someone was familiar with this format I get odd results when trying to export a section using dvr - "no video to export". Rather get this job into the hands of someone with experiance at it- if no one here its back to the manufacture for the system.
