Hi,

I need help in repairing this pcb. The drive is not spinning at all. No signs of burnt. I am not pro at Electronics but with the help of yours, I will be able to correctly diagnose.

Complete specs of HDD are

TOSHBA MK5055GSX
HDD2H21 C ZL01 S
500GB

I agree, that looks like it handles the main power to the drive and looks burned out from the image. I have a drive PCB that looks like that, but that component looks different.

It's written 2 on it. Is it a fuse? Shall i remove and resolder?

Yes, it's a fuse. However, I suspect that the marking is an "N" rather than a "2". Either way it's still a 2A fuse.

Littelfuse Surface Mount Fuses, N = 2A, S = 4A:

Before bridging or replacing the fuse, you should test for short circuits on the load side. To this end, measure the resistances of the two components immediately to the right of the fuse. One will probably be a TVS diode.

Think MANY MANY MANY times before recklessly "BRIDGING" the fuse or simply replacing it.
This means you have to CAREFULLY check the ENTIRE PCB.
I would use another working PCB, check HDA and normalize, but it's me.
