Hi,
I received the HDD for diagnosis,
MAXTOR DiamondMax21
STM3250820AS
Firmware: 3.AAE
Site Code: SU
Info on stickers:
- Galaxy 2D
- 3,5 Series 7200.10
Drive start normally, DRD DSC appear, but...
- after clicking autodetect, PC-3000 suggests it's Quantum Fireball TM model (weird)
- after entering utility, drive's ID and capacity are recognized successfully.
- after entering in DE, there are no partitions listed,
- performed Search NTFS Structures (it found a lot of indexes), after searching has finished, opened the results, but anything appear on the right hand window.
Is the problem related to translator?
What can I do more with this issue?

Can you view the contents of any sector? Does MBR look ok? Assuming surface is accessible with no errors are you sure is not encrypted? You can find file headers from the surface?

as hddguy said, since its detecting, connect it normal to ur pc, open winhex and see the headers if you are able to read it

Thank You for advices guys.
Customer decided not to go ahead with this case and took the drive back.
As I described above DE didn't recognize partitions, after performing "Search NTFS structure" partitions weren't visible too, however after making short scanning with Partition Find And Mount, this software has found 3 partitions (83GB each), in fact I was unable to mount it because of error, but it recognized, DE didn't.
