Im new in this forum.
I have one Seagate 1 TB HDD.
Logic card is burned,so i arranged identical HDD with same model and FW and replaced logic card but its showing 8 gb in bios.
I want to recover this data.Any suggestion or procedure to recover that data.

What is the drive's complete model (ST3...)?
I will look for a compatible board in stock to see the board's layout and its components.

Either way, two things to do:
1) try repairing the board (if possible, because can not quite determine the damage extent from the picture)
2) reprogram ROM adaptives to a donor board

If you do not have soldering experience and equipment, then send it to a professional.

Model is ST31000524AS /Firmware JC45
i purchased another identical HDD with same model and firmware replaced Logic card.It gets detected in BIOS But showing 3.9 GB in bios,i checked this disk by seatool it passes all test.Also showing 4 gb in disk managment in windows.
Regarding solder track of pcb are bad at burnt portion

Alright, so I like stated previously I can not quite make out from the pic what is and what is not burnt, plus there can be other components that have been damaged as well.

So, your best bet is to solder the lower right ROM chip to your donor board (marked Winbond - see pic).

Make sure you know what you are doing (suggest practicing before working on the target drive).
If you are not comfortable than let a professional do it.

If you mess up, this will be very very expensive to recover data from.

Well, there are unfortunately additional problems with the drive. So, this is the end of DIY.

Have to seek professional DR service.

Make sure that you keep track of what components are where and explain to the professional what component belongs to what (for example, patient ROM is on the donor board now).

I agree. DIY here is useless and will only cause further complications....

Have you taken ESD care while removing eproms? I suspect rom corruption.This may make recovery impossible if original rom is dead.
