I am trying to recover an 8 element raid 5 array in which the the drive order has been rearranged. I use winhex and r-studio to find NTFS raid parameters but am complely new to HFS sytems. I have all other parameters. I have read several incomprehensible articles (probably because a am a relative newcomer the hex analysis) on the subject. Can anyone suggest a relatively easy to follow procedure to follow or perhaps some articles that outline the procedure. Perhaps there is a procedure similar to tracing the order of file entries in the ntfs master file table.

As far as I am aware there is no way to rebuild HFS+ RAID from file-system analysis. NTFS is simple because has good system counters to use, same as EXT. But HFS+ requires good knowledge of RAID distributions.

IF you are relatively new to RAID and HFS then I think maybe you should get some real assistance on this.
