 Post subject: Western Digital Failure, please help.

Hello ,First i must say i do have little understanding about pc computers but how ever i have no understanding about hard disks and how they work.
My problem:
i have western digital sata 500 GB hd, it had windows install on it, when day windows crush, with blue error screen. then after some tries to log in windows again pc stoped identify my hard disk, window and linux dont see this harddisk , and bios also not see this hard disk. i cant see it no where!!!

i have some files on this HD , i relly want to find a way to retrive data from there...
anything i can do about it?

i live in israel, and as far as i know things like data recovery here is kind of expensive .../:
