Please Help Faulty Hdd

Hiya All,

I have a 2.5 Seagate hard drive ST9160412AS, and it would no longer power up, so I bought another drive that is idectical and replaced the board, not it powers up but wont detect, the only difference is that the two firmware are differnt, is there any way i can get a hold of Firmware FW 0006HPM1 and reflash it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

is several words, not without the correct tools. If the data is important stop what your doing and seek professional help.
