WD 26400 F/W problem

Hi everyone,
i have i WD 26400 6Gb hdd and is seems to have a F/w issue.
at the report says "The disk claims that it is a packet device. This indicates a firmware failure"
how can i handle this one. can i update the F/W?

well i found the solution. i imaged the drive with FTK imager and run the image with R-Studio.
