Urgent Help:Seagate freeagent go 500gb not working...

Hi frnd, I am just new to this forum, I am a student of software. I have a seagate freeagent go 500gb external hd. ystrday it fell down from 1 feet height when it was connected but it kept on working. In the evening, when I wanted to use the hd, it was not working, even light didnt work. When I connect to PC, a sound comes for 10-15 seconds and it goes died. at last I opened the case and dissabled sata to usb component, light worked out but when I again conncted sata to usb component light vanished. I borrowed a seagate FreeAgent 500gb 2day from one of my frnd and I wanted to use its sata to usb connector with my hd's sata, now the driver is showing in device manager but its still not coming in my computer or disk management tool. I have all my work on that. plz help...

need pro. help here and diagnose

in addition those seagate are really tricky when it comes to heads issue
