Does anyone know how to resurrect an accidentally deleted job-file in Samsung’s Auto Backup?
The job file contains my wife’s ‘My Documents’ and I’m in a heap of trouble.
I have scanned myportable drive with a neat program downloaded from www.recovering-deleted-files.net but it doesn’t reveal the job-file. The files within the job-file are encrypted so recovering them individually I suspect wouldn’t help without going via the Auto Backup user interface and using the password to unlock and restore.
Samsung S2 Portable 750Gb portable HDD, model HX-MUD75DA/G2. OS: Windows 7
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try R-Studio.

Many thanks Northwind for your reply. I may end-up resorting to your service is all else fails.
The Google translator does a pretty good translation from Greek but is there an English version to your website?
I am attempting other solutions first after receiving a few tips from friends in the know e.g RECUVA from Piriform.com

hey Dan
No, there is no english version of our site (yet), but since you're UK based, if you want to consult a pro, i recommend member pcimage, he 's based in peterborough and comes highly recommended.
If you insist in sending the disk to us, that's fine, we will do our best to find your file.
