Does anyone come across this problem?
Model : Intel SSDA2BW160G3H (160G SSD 320 Series)
Serial number: No_Context 000000
Firmware: 4PC10302
Drive recognized as 8Mbytes
Tried update the firmware but failed:
The Intel SATA SSD firmware update did not complete. Please try the following:
1. Disable the drive password--------->no password was set
2. Enable SMART in BIOS ---> already done that
3. Enable Legacy IDE mode in BIOS ----> done that
Any help much appreciated.

If you don't need the data ( it is hardware encrypted with aes-128 becouse it is Intel G3 controller) , try do Secure Erase in pc3000 universal utility.
