well it has been tested on 7200.10 and 7200.8 ( but it is made for 7200.10)
we have a tool for dm9 and dm10...
We are planing for 7200.11 now, but before that we are working on platter extraction for seagates....

very nice tool !
on 7200.9 and higher when heads are failing 70 % problems includes media damage at the same time too.
New set of heads hits bad area on the drive and we got same problem again.
I think is a great tool to take heads of when motor is stuck.
