i have same problem with drive
st1000dm003 1Tb
no more recognizable from bios
no strange sound, motor spin regualrly
if connect via serial i receive the same failure

this prb may be bad PCB or Bad Head
but if You success To enter T-level With RD Channel

Was imaging this drive slowly through a lot of bad sectors, only really worked in reverse and in PIO mode but was getting there. Drive stopped and started to make beeping noise from voice coil and wouldnt go to ready. Thought it was heads but have disconnected PCB from drive and PCB also wont go ready on its own or with just spindle isolated

I have similar problem with my disk Segate Barracuda ST2000DM001 PN: 9YN164-302. I have attached logs from PUTTY. After last line I can not do anything, it freezes. What can I do with that problem?

Any ideas?

When you get servo errors, its usually an internal physical problem.
