 Post subject: Bad sector problem

i have an ipod with an hdd inside of it and it has bad sectors on the hdd part of it i have looked into a few programs and they work but they only repair 1 bad sector i have tried to sit here doing 1 at a time but i could be sat here for the rest of my life is there a program out there that will do it for free that has usb support. thanks in advance for any help with this as it is driving me nutty as i've been at it for about 4 months now

1 bad sector and 4 months!?!? Something is not adding up. Research mhdd and SMART.

You have to work with that drive attached directly to a computer, not thru USB.
