i wanna buy this tool for hdd repair.
I' will like your opinion about this tool:

It's much more chipper then the one i saw on ebay.
I don't know if it is a fake.

I believe they are the same tool. The workbench is useful, as is the magnet puller; although you could use a pair of needle nose pliers to get the magnet off. I have the platter swap tool and have never needed it. Although I have not had one come in for this problem, it seems as though Seagate drives are the most common drives to have seized bearings and there are better tools specifically for Seagate that do this better. Search the forum for answers.

They use pieces of paper to separate the heads.

Is this procedure safe for heads?
I don't think is serious, they could include a head tool also...!!!!

How about try it out? There is nothing like experiencing for the purpose of finding out.
