WD Caviar Green
Model: WD10EAVS00D781
DCM: HANNNT2MBN
WWN: 50014EE1AC720BE6
LBA: 1953525168
Logic Board: 2061-701590-A00-AE
Unit didn't smoke, I noticed it right away and unplugged it, but drive doesn't work, removed the drive from the case, won't work on a eSATA docking station either.
Thinking the logic board on the drive needs to be replaced, but am reading about encryption between the original eSATA/USB board and disks pcb?
Would really like to get my data off this disk! Any help appreciated.

As long as ur original enclosure works - new compatible PCB with original ROM - put into original enclosure and u got the data. But some of the steps are not really DIY. Post the picture of the PCB here.
