hi
I have a seagate st3500418as ,bios doesnt detect it and has click sound
can you help me about click sound=platter or head crash???

And I use currently an SeagateSATAtype Drive Barracuda 7200.12 model typeST3500418AS( CapacityFormated/Accesible=500/465.76GB.).
But it are working fine,smoothly,quiet.
Most probably if BIOS not recognize him are in fault,out service,replace with new one.
